Meet Angel, a dog who was purposely starved and on the brink of death. Rescued just in time, her organs had begun to shut down, leaving her in pain, weak, and afraid. With every bone in her body painfully visible, Angel’s story is one of heartache and the incredible power of love and determination.

As Angel’s body and spirit were both shutting down, her life took a turn for the better when she came under the care of loving people. For a while, her survival was uncertain. However, with the help of knowledgeable caregivers, she received small amounts of food, IV nutrition, antibiotics, and pain medication, giving her a chance at recovery.
