“Cuteness Overload at the Sheriff’s Office” 😴
This week, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado made a delightful announcement: the addition of two irresistibly cute new members to their team — K9 Otis and K9 Bear. These furry officers aren’t just any pups; they’re therapy animals destined to bring joy and comfort to local schools.
Their introduction to the world was nothing short of adorable, as they posed for an official portrait, donning tiny vests and badges. But, it seems that starting a new job can be quite exhausting!
Otis, a lively black Lab, displayed his spirited nature proudly. Bear, his chocolate Lab counterpart, seemed a bit more reserved in demeanor.
During their swearing-in ceremony, the duo’s contrasting personalities were on full display. Otis was the picture of eagerness, bright-eyed and attentive, even offering a paw during the oath. Bear, however, couldn’t help but succumb to drowsiness, struggling to keep his eyes open on this significant day. But don’t worry, he managed to gather enough energy later for a playful puppy tussle!
The hope is that K9 Otis and K9 Bear will have long, impactful careers, bringing smiles and solace to school children. They both have the perfect temperament for their roles.
