In an overpopulated animal shelter world, dogs and cats face long waits for their forever homes. One such dog, Kylie, a Shepherd-Boxer mix, has been searching for her loving family for three years. Initially surrendered in Spokane, Washington, she later moved to the Benton-Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, nurturing hope for a miracle.
Dedicated volunteer Julie has put heart and soul into helping Kylie find her perfect match, forming a close bond in the process. However, Kylie’s lack of compatibility with other animals poses a significant challenge, while her comfort and excitement around humans show a completely different side. The homeless pet overpopulation issue in the region has also not made it any easier for her to stand out.
