‘Shaking’ Pit Bull Won’t Leave Shelter Corner, Heard A Voice And Inched Forward

Dog shelters can be overwhelming places for dogs, as they tend to be loud and chaotic.

Dogs like Carson, a Pit Bull who was abandoned by his family, struggle to adjust to the shelter environment. Suffering from allergies that caused skin problems, he was left frightened and shaking in his kennel.

Lauren, a volunteer with Philly Bully Team, took notice of Carson and decided to bring him home. Knowing that Carson needed a sense of security, they quickly became inseparable.

Lauren provided the constant attention he needed, and eventually adopted him, making their bond permanent. Carson now enjoys snuggling, walks, and playing with sticks while feeling safe and loved.
