Xander, this sweet 6-year-old from Springfield, Illinois, had been saving up for a puppy for like a year and a half. Every day, he’d ask his mom for any spare change to put in his savings jar. And get this – he even stopped buying candy just to save up faster!
Xander’s dream was to have his very own puppy. When his grandparents got wind of his adorable mission, they had a special surprise up their sleeve. They drove over to his house, and Xander, all excited, runs out to greet them.
His grandma tells him to close his eyes and hold out his hands for a “present.” The look on his face when he opens his eyes and sees a puppy in his arms is just priceless!
